Background Requirements

The background must be pure white. No patterns, shadows, or colour variations are permitted. The background must be clean and uniform throughout the entire photo.

Face and Expression

A neutral expression with closed mouth is required. Both eyes must be open and looking directly at the camera. The face must be centred and fully visible. The head must be straight with no tilting.

Glasses

Glasses are not allowed in Saudi passport photos. All eyewear must be removed, including prescription glasses, tinted lenses, and sunglasses.

Head Coverings

For men, the traditional ghutra (headscarf) and agal are permitted but not required. The face must remain fully visible. For women, hijab is permitted. In all cases, the full face from forehead to chin must be clearly visible with no shadows from the covering.

Photos must have been taken within the last 6 months and must accurately represent your current appearance.
